Please have IEP/504 plan ready to share so that we may preview it (please mail, e-mail or fax it).
We are truly independent from the schools; unlike government agencies or federally funded training centers, we are ADVOCATES who stand up for the parent. SEPAL advocates do special education exclusively.
This is not a free service.
Never go to an IEP alone. Parents are often bamboozled.
Mediation is an avenue often worth considering; we are advocates who can go with the parent into mediation; contact SEPAL before requesting.
Delay by the parent often works against the student.
SEPAL advocates are not attorneys and do not give legal advice. We have years of experience working the educational system(s).
